If you haven’t worked for some time, and your circumstances make it difficult for you to get back into learning, training or work, Genesis may be able to support you to take the first steps towards training and employment.

Our dedicated team of Adult Advisors work with individuals to help them to make plans for the future, and to provide the support they need to help them achieve their goals and a brighter future.

This may include:

Support, advice and guidance
Confidence building and personal development courses
Help to identify suitable training courses
Help to identify childcare providers
Funding for childcare*
Other financial assistance*

* where funding is not available from any other source.

To take part, individuals must:

Live in Carmarthenshire
Be over the age of 16
Be out of work or claiming benefits

Priority will be given to:

Females
Lone parents
Individuals who find it difficult to find or access work due to health problems
16-18 year olds who are not studying, training or working
Individuals over the age of 50
Black and Ethnic Minority Groups
